Mourning people in ashura day

mourning people stand in front of a Religious mural in ashura day in Saveh, a city in the Markazi Province of Iran which is located about 100 km southwest of Tehran. The Day of Ashura is on the tenth day of Muharram in the Islamic calendar and marks the climax of the Remembrance of Muharram. It is commemorated by Shi'a Muslims as a day of mourning for the martyrdom of Imam Husayn, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad at the Battle of Karbala on 10 Muharram in the year 61 AH.
