A view of Jameh Mosque of Khorramshahr; After the start of the Iran-Iraq war, the city of Khorramshahr was one of the first places to be attacked by the Iraqi army due to its proximity to the Shalamcheh border. After Khorramshahr was recaptured, Jameh Mosque of Khorramshahr was one of the few buildings that remained semi-intact in this city, and it was called a symbol of resistance.
